Limit 'From' list when sending SMS Communication

CLIENT: Echo Church (they have upgraded their dev site to V 14, and are asking this specifically with respect to V 14 - NOTE: screenshots are from a different church)

CONCERN/PROBLEM TO SOLVE: folks may inadvertently select the wrong 'From' person/number when using SMS communication if all possible SMS numbers are listed

Is there a way to limit the 'From' drop down list when sending an SMS communication only to those numbers for which the person logged in is assigned/has access to? I see there is a way to limit the entire list to just a few in the block settings, but this isn't exactly the same as it would be unique to the logged in user.

After reviewing the 14.1 release notes and related GitHub post, this can be resolved by setting the security at the SMS phone number level and limiting access to the person that 'owns' the number.
