Calculate Duplicate Person Job failing

For Scottsdale Bible Church their Calculate Duplicate Person Job keeps failing because of timing out https://rock.scottsdalebible.com/admin/system/jobs/11 . I adjusted the command timeout to 5400 seconds but it's still timing out. Is it normal for it to take more than 1hour and 30 minutes to run?

They had quite a bit of fragmentation in their database. I updated the Database Maintenance job to be more aggressive. While that often works it didn't this time.

It appears that the SQL for this Job is timing out. I was able to run the SQL outside the job without a timeout. It took nearly 3 hours to run. This is likely because they have have over 16,000 duplicates. I expect that if they are able to reduce this number the job will run a bit faster.
