Can I auto-populate an attribute date (like Baptism) when attendance is tracked?

I have a client tracking attendance for Baptisms, on a group. Can we auto-populate the attendance date to the Baptism Date attribute?

Yes you can auto-populate the date when attendance is taken.

1. You'll need a workflow that will set the date.

   a. The workflow needs two workflow attributes

   b. In the "Start" activity add an action to set the Baptism Date using Person Attribute Set:

   

2. On the Group type of the group, in the "Group Member Workflows" tab add the workflow to be launched

   

3. When attendance is tracked the date will fill in on the designated person attribute.
